Hi everyone! Boy have I missed writing blogposts – it’s been almost 3 weeks since my last one *hangs head in shame*. I have been protective styling using a weave for the past *nearly* 6 weeks – during this time, I have had 2 weave wash days – I typically do a wash day every 2 weeks if I am protective styling. You can check out my weave wash day on this post – the second one I did was pretty much the same as the first. Continue reading
I would like to think I have perfected my wash day process when my hair is under a weave as a protective style. I just thought to hop on and give me feelings about my fist real wigging stint that I have just completed. I wore the protective style for 5 weeks in total, 1 week with my hair loosely braided and 4 weeks with my hair in a beehive cornrow pattern.

Yay! I am into my first protective style of this stretch, even though I am a week late according to my regimen for this year, better late than never, right?
I decided to go with a wig, this is the 3rd time I have a wig on my hair journey, the last one I kept for 3 weeks because I missed my hair terribly as I had no access to it in the 3 weeks, absolutely 0! I couldn’t even moisturise and seal…long story. Continue reading
