I have finally completed the 30 days of water challenge. My main focus was to carry over my drinking water habits during the week over to the weekends which is when I really struggle to drink water because of lack of routine (or discipline).
I succeeded in drinking a minimum of 1 litre a day over 3 weekends, the one weekend I just fell off the wagon hard – but I didn’t let that get me down!
I am a regular water drinker – I usually get in 1 litre on a bad day and now since the hot weather is upon us (finally!), I will be upping my intake to 1.5 litres minimum.
Here are some of the ways that I ensure I drink water throughout the day:
- In the morning I drink hot water with lemon for that extra kick
- I carry around a water bottle which I fill in the morning
- I drink water after each meal
- I drink some water just before I go to sleep (I feel like it helps my body rejuvenate whilst I’m in lalaland)
